Welcome to the discussion page!

Please join us, SPARC BC, VOC BC and Vancity Community Foundation to share your ideas, insights and comments on the New Directions for British Columbia’s Non-Profit Sector Project funded by the BC Centre for Non-Profit Management and Sustainability.

We know that the non-profit sector makes a tremendous contribution to the economic and social well-being of communities across BC.  This is an important story that needs to be told.

Share your stories and ideas with us as we work to create a sector impact report that will demonstrate the contribution of the non-profit sector to BC communities. The more we hear back from non-profit staff and volunteers across BC, the more effective we will be in telling our collective story!

Share your ideas through this discussion:

  • Tell us your story, your narrative on how your organization contributes to your community.
  • Let us know ideas or actions that should be taken to help build a better understanding about the role that non-profit organizations play in their community.
  • Tell us what you think would help you to connect with other non-profits in your community, region, across this province.
  • Describe the types of tools or resources you believe would be helpful to you in communicating the value of your non-profit and building increased understanding, awareness and support for the work that you and your organization do.
